Life often gives us opportunities to grow, but we can become afraid and turn away from these opportunities.
It’s a bit like the “Don’t feed the birds” signs you see at cafes and restaurants that have outdoor seating areas. The birds have become a pest because people have fed them, thereby creating a habit or expectation that people at tables means food. Unfortunately, these birds are now so accustomed to receiving food from people that they don’t go and seek traditional bird food items.
Don’t be like these birds that have built habits that rely on other people. Make your own pathway and ensure that you are grabbing every opportunity you can, to grow and become the best version of you.
Life is short, make the most of it, don’t fly with the flock, stand out in the crowd.
